Xiaomi has been plagued with availability issues since the Mi3 device went on sale in the Indian market but the Chinese company has confirmed to
Reuters that they’re ready for India’s biggest festive season. According to Hugo Barra, Xiaomi will sell 100,000 devices a week in October when Indians will celebrate the Diwali festival in the tail end of the month.
Barra’s statement does not clarify if Xiaomi will sell 100,000 units of each of its models (Mi 3 and Redmi 1S) or a cumulative figure.
Xiaomi flash sales are held every week where users need to pre-register for the sale to be eligible for a purchase.
