Why do laptops perform worse than desktops of the same specifications?
I’m looking a getting a gaming laptop, specifically the Eon 17-X, but i can’t figure one thing out. I’ve seen desktops with worse specs than this laptop, say, one with a quad core 2.5 cpu and SLI 550ti and 8 Gb of ram outperform it when it has a hexcore 3.8 Ghz cpu and SLI 580m and 16 Gb of ram. Why is this?
