Fossil has made a major play for a piece of the smartwatch pie by launching a broad range of wearable devices.

The Q line includes devices that resemble traditional timepieces, as well as Android Wear watches.

The Q Tailor and the Q Nate are being billed as Smart Analog watches. They have a traditional look and feel, but come with a secondary display on their faces for tracking steps and displaying notifications.

If you prefer your smartwatches fully-fledged, Fossil has also revealed the Android Wear-powered Q Wander and the Q Marshal.

They have the usual bells and whistles we’ve come to expect from Google’s wearable OS, including voice controls, notifications and Google Now alerts.

All of the Q-branded devices are compatible with iOS and Android and will be available in 44mm and 46mm size options when they land later this year.

Fossil will also sell them alongside exclusive dials and swappable straps for customisation enthusiasts.
